If you’ve ever reached out to me about a photoshoot, you’ve probably heard me say, “Let’s create together.” It’s not just a tagline — it’s the foundation of my approach to portrait, wedding, and event photography. Whether you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the DMV area, a portrait photographer in Montgomery County, or someone to capture a Bar/Bat mitzvah in Rockville, my goal is to collaborate with you to create something that feels truly authentic, and that means that it’s collaborative.

More Than Just Posing — It’s Storytelling

When we work together, I don’t just pose you and press the shutter. I guide you into moments. I help you feel comfortable enough that your real personality shines through. That could mean cracking a joke to get you laughing, giving you prompts to spark a natural reaction, or finding that one tiny tweak that makes a pose really work for you. Most importantly, I ask for your input, and won’t feel offended if you suggest a pose I hadn’t thought of yet.

I love when clients bring ideas to the table — your vision, your story, your personality. I’m here to help bring it to life in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether that means capturing an intimate elopement in Washington, DC, a vibrant family session in Bethesda, or an engagement shoot in Silver Spring, I want the end result to reflect you.

Your Comfort = The Best Photos

I don’t believe in forcing people into stiff, unnatural poses or rushing through a session just to check shots off a list. Some of my favorite images have come from moments where we just went with the flow: where a couple got lost in their own world, where a family started cracking up over an inside joke, or where a senior started showing off their hidden talent (because yes, I will ask if you have any hidden talents).

When I say “let’s create together,” I mean:

• Let’s make something that feels like you.

• Let’s collaborate, not just take photos.

• Let’s create an experience, not just a session.

I’m not here to impose a style on you or force you into a box — I’m here to work with you to create something meaningful, fun, and uniquely yours. Art is best when you have a personal connection to it and that's what makes photography such an incredible art form. When you make a portrait with a photographer, you are playing a big role in making the art beautiful.

So, if you’re looking for a portrait, wedding, or Mitzvah photographer in the DMV, let’s make some magic. Let’s create together.
