Where passions collide


Family photoshoots are among my favorite types of sessions. Having worked as a teacher and/or in childcare settings for over seven years, working with children is a passion of mine nearly on par with photography. I'm proud to be able to coax smiles out of even the most shy of children and use my teaching background to find ways to engage them in the session so they can stay engaged -- or, to create dedicated movement breaks or fun tasks for them when they get antsy. Please let me know beforehand if there is anything you'd like to share that will help us have a successful, fun, and memorable session.


I'm happy to offer shorter 20-minute sessions, a full hour, or even full-day documentary sessions depending on what makes sense for you and your family, and I promise that we'll have a ton of fun no matter how long we get to spend together. Having fun is what makes the photos feel so genuine!

A Note on Privacy


Comfort during our session is paramount, and that means that your privacy matters deeply to me.


The images you see throughout my website and portfolio are photographs that my clients have given me permission to share. As a full-time photographer, being able to show real examples of my work is an important part of how future families find me and decide whether my photography is right for them, so permission to use select images in my portfolio and/or marketing is part of my standard photography agreement.


With that permission comes a responsibility I take seriously. I'm intentional about how client photographs are used online, limit unnecessary identifying information, avoid sharing sensitive personal details alongside images, and I take additional steps to reduce unnecessary exposure while still allowing prospective clients to see real examples of my work. In August 2026, I conducted a full audit of my family photo sharing practices and have made changes to further strengthen the level of security your images will be treated with, so you can walk away from a session with not only amazing photos, but also the peace of mind that your images are shared thoughtfully and responsibly.


If your family has a particular privacy or safety circumstance that I should be aware of, you're always welcome to let me know before booking so we can discuss our options and make sure we're all comfortable moving forward. In the interest of full transparency, I heavily lean toward working with families who allow me to showcase our artwork, but I understand and respect extenuating circumstances and would still be happy to discuss any concerns beforehand so we can make a plan that makes sense for both of us. In the event that we're unable to reach a resolution we're both comfortable with, I'm more than happy to help connect you with photographers who feel like an even better fit for you and your family.

As technology and online privacy continue to evolve, I'll continue evaluating my practices and making reasonable changes that help protect the people who trust me with their photographs.
