Family, Senior, and Couples' Fall Mini Sessions in the DMV

It's that time again! Peak fall foliage in the DMV area is projected to be from October 18th, 2026 to November 1st, 2026. If you're looking for new family, senior, or couples' portraits, look no further! I'm a former teacher by day so you can rest assured that I'll bring the energy while keeping our sessions brief enough that you (and your little ones) don't get too restless. You'll spend 15 minutes with me and get 10+ edited, hi-res images (but that's a minimum -- I send all the keepers!). No watermarks and no hidden pay-per-photo fees! Just great photos you'll love. Every mini session also includes a 40% off discount code for you to use in your Pixieset-partnered gallery, where you can easily design and print holiday cards from their templates.

This time around, our sessions will be in four spots I've loved for fall photos: Union Station in DC, Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, MD, Rollins Congressional Club (specifically, its gorgeous woods) in Rockville, MD, and Croydon Creek Nature Center in Rockville, MD. Each of these places are accessible to the public and will keep the booking process as simple as possible. They each have their own flavor of fall: Union Station offers something urban that doesn't depend on leaves hitting their peak yet (plus, it's covered if it rains), Glen Echo Park offers historic amusement park scenery that feels both lighthearted and mature, Rollins is a hidden gem of beautiful fall colors which I expect to have no crowds, and Croydon Creek offers gorgeous fall foliage in its woods, as well as an activity to do afterward if you want to make a day of it with your kids. Note: These sessions are limited to one household only. Session location may need to be adjusted in the event of extenuating circumstances (e.g., if there's construction at Union Station or exceptionally high wind risking fallen trees). Location changes would be communicated ASAP. If you don't see an available date that works for you, I likely am still able to open additional mini session spots on weekday afternoons based on demand and availability. These weekend mini session dates are my last openings until mid to late November -- peak fall weekends are fully booked!
