Matt and AnnaBelle's love for each other was apparent from our first phone call — and when we met in person, I got to see even more how deeply they'd fallen for one another. Of course, it was an easy, enthusiastic "yes" for me to photograph for them on their wedding day.
The two of them wanted to keep it simple: a small venue with a dear friend officiating, homemade decor, a photographer, and champagne. That's it, and it's totally my style. Love is center stage and memories are the star. It's always an honor to help memorialize someone's wedding day, but on a day as minimalistic as this, being one of just a few elements was truly something special.
I always try to add to peoples' wedding days as much as I can, less as a photographer and more as a friend. That's the most fun part of the job, and it has the added benefit of making the photos look all the more sincere and comfortable. I had such a great time with Matt and AnnaBelle and that shines through in the photos.
